Ten years later, this is what happened.
“If roses were blue, and violets were red,” Lila read aloud, blushing and glancing at Juan, who was grinning,
“I would still love you. Even if instead
Of hearts that showed love, we all drew stars
Even if we all lived on Mars
There would be a million ways to say what I do.
But I’ll settle for, ‘I love you.’”
“Aawwww…” Cherry, Jane and Sky said in unison. They were sitting at the table having tea, also grinning.
Juan pulled out a ring.
“Will you marry me?”
Well, duh.
So they all lived happily ever after. I know you’re tired of hearing stories end that way, but that is what happened, and what will happen. And I am afraid this is…
